We want all donations to directly benefit Sri Lanka and this is why we have only just set up this page. Virgin Money do charge us around 2pct of any donation that is made through their system. Of course they do help with administration and collecting Gift Aid etc. yet for any large individual donation it still makes sense to send a cheque.
Please make any cheques out to Schools Relief Initiative and send them to our registered charity address:
Schools Relief Initiative, 5 Boat Race Court 61 – 69 Mortlake High Street, London SW14 8HL

The UK’s Gift Aid scheme enables us to collect an extra 25p in every pound, helping your donation to go further. To benefit from this, you will need to fill out a form and send it back to us. Jackie can email this to you, or you can download it from the following HMRC link:
Further information on how Gift Aid works is explained in the following link:
2) Hong Kong Payments
We can accept payments in Hong Kong and US dollars.
We are happy to provide proof of receipt of funds for the benefit of Hong Kong’s Inland Revenue Department.
For HSBC bank account holders, we are classified as a designated merchant. This means you can collect reward points when making donations to us via your credit card. If you use internet banking, you can also automatically select us as a bill payment merchant.
